Welcome to Ardee Business Park & Training Centre
Ardee Community Development Company (ACDC) Ltd. is a community owned, not for profit Social Enterprise, which came into being in 1998. It was the brainchild of a number of local individuals who saw the need for a community response to the high unemployment levels, the low level of inward investment and the lack job creation opportunities in the Ardee region. From this modest, and idealistic, beginning – Ardee Community Development Company is now regarded as one of the most successful and innovative community initiatives in the country.
We develop new Infrastructure to provide existing and new businesses with facilities that might otherwise be beyond their initial reach. The most recent initiative was the ‘North East Food Hub’.
We provide Meeting & Training Room facilities or indeed virtual training for various functions or events and conduct regular training in key areas that fulfill local needs.
We provide a range of Business & Admin supports to Businesses which include ‘Virtual Office’ space & Remote Workspace, helping to reduce the cost of business. Helping you to grow your business.
We provide advice to prospective business looking to set-up in the locality, networking with existing suppliers and potential customers and help to accommodate their facilities needs if we have available space.
How We Operate?
Ardee Community Development Company is a highly structured entity. Our Day to Day operation is run by our Manager who has the backing and oversight of a Management Team comprising of a number of our Board Members. Our Board of Directors is comprised of a broad range of experience and knowledge in the areas of Agriculture, Marketing, IT, Accountancy, Legal, Education, Retail, Engineering, Regional Enterprise & Development, Management, Food Development, Leadership & Business Development. We are very fortunate and thankful to be able to call on these voluntary skills and knowledge within the community.

Do you offer Training?
Yes! We develop and provide training courses to help individuals upskill or fulfill local employment needs.
What type of training do you provide?
We ascertain local business needs in order to identify training requirements on a regular basis. Courses in Healthcare, Finance, Manual Handling & Safe Pass for the Construction Industry are regular occuring courses. We also facilitate courses on New Business, Marketing etc.
